Dorset Stand up to Racism joining forces with the Caribbean Reparations Commission
Dorset Stand Up to Racism has written an Open Letter to Richard Drax, together with public figures in Barbados, calling upon the South Dorset MP to restore his Drax Hall Estate to the people of the island.
The Drax family gained enormous wealth from the practice of slavery. Richard Drax is the wealthiest landowning MP in the Commons, number 2 in the Top Ten of Dorset Landowners.
Stand Up to Racism Dorset, working with the Caribbean Reparations Commission, calls for Richard Drax to make reparation and restitution for what were crimes against humanity.
